Tree in Winter
Gouache and ink on panel
5 x 10"
Tree in Winter was a collaboration show with fiction writer Charlie M. Broderick at the Hopkins Art Center in late 2017. Based on Broderick's short story of June, a young painter with schizophrenia, the paintings attempt to see the world through June's eyes, as well as documenting her thoughts and daydreams. Our show was in part a fundraiser for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Minnesota chapter.
